Morphy Richards Ionic irons TV advert

I cannot really get excited about steam irons but when I saw a TV advert for Morphy Richards Ionic irons stating they had been named a Which? Best Buy I thought I would take a look.

The ‘Ionic‘ label refers to an anti-static sole plate. Now how much difference this makes to the ironing experience I do not know, but it sounds good doesn’t it?

The model of iron fitted with an Ionic sole-plate that Morphy Richards seem to be promoting mostly on their web site is the Morphy Richards 301011 Comfigrip Steam Iron illustrated here. The Morphy Richards 301011 is available from retailers such as John Lewis, Homebase and Appliances Direct.
